"Oh hi, are you Angela?”
Nearly everyone who comes into Angela's Flowers asks that question. After all, it makes perfect sense that my name would be Angela.
But the answer is no, I’m actually not Angela. Angela opened Angela's Flowers in the mid ‘80s, and after a couple of years sold the business to Joanne. Joanne never changed the name of Angela's, and Angela's Flowers became known in Ojai and throughout Ventura County as an extraordinary flower shop.
So, common sense told me that with a reputation like that, why change the name?

I've always loved flowers, gardens and flower arranging.
While I am the new owner of Angela's Flowers, I have been working as the floral designer at Angela's Flowers for the past 20 years.
My vision is to offer you something to enrich your everyday experience. This may not be as dramatic as saving the world, but there is something quite wonderful about introducing people to a flower they've never seen before, or noticing how people relax when they walk in, take their first deep breath, and ask what smells so good. With the help of a wonderful team whom I trust and admire, I’m so happy to say that I see my vision coming true a little bit each day.
